Who We Are
Minneola Community Church is a family
of followers of Jesus Christ who seek to point others to Him
by applying His sufficient Word to all areas of life and ministry.
We do this by growing stronger in our faith, reaching out,
serving together, and by meeting needs and strengthening others.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is three fold:
To provide a place to worship and experience Christian fellowship
for all who desire to make this their church home.
To offer spiritual nurture, an opportuniity for service, and
development of Christian character.
To promote a program for the spreading of the gospel at home
and abroad.
Our Mission
The mission of Minneola Community Church
is to make disciples of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28: 19) who individually
and corporately love and glorify God (Matt. 22:36-37; 1 Cor.
10:31) through:
Celebrating in the worship of God (Psalms 95 :6; 150:6; Col.
3: 16);
Cultivating spiritual growth in all believers (Acts 2:42;
Eph. 4:11-16);
Caring for people in the name of Christ (Matt. 10:42,25:31-46;
Luke 6:27-35);
Communicating the gospel to the world (Matt. 28:19; Acts 1:8;
Rom. 10: 14-15; 2 Peter 3:9).
Our Motivation
We are motivated by the belief that God's Word is
sufficient and that by following its 1ife-changing message, we bring glory to God.
We rejoice in the message of the cross - that people can be forgiven through the
blood of Christ and enter into a personal relationship with God.
Our Values
Growing Stronger - believing that God
has a plan for every believer's spiritual growth and that
He wants godly lives
and families
built.
Reaching Out - believing that a
changed life enables us to serve Christ faithfully and creatively.
Serving Together - believing that God wants us to challenge
other members to serve Him and that every member is vital
and important in His service.
Meeting Needs - believing that our church should address
community concerns by doing good works and sharing biblical
truths.
Strengthening Others - believing that God is pleased as
we actively strengthen pastors, missionaries, and key lay
leaders.
